Today in class we looked at two fallacies: Argument from Ignorance and Slippery Slope. If you are in Alondra's, Nerizza's, or Sarah's row, write an argument from ignorance; if you are in Kris's, Michael's, or Lindsey's row, write a slippery slope argument. Remember: your arguments must actually be fallible, so write deliberately and consciously to that end.
THEN, debunk one other person's argument (this can be anyone's in the class).

I suspect that you were responsible for the egging of a house, yesterday,and you can not tell me where you were so it makes you seem gulity.
If you text and drive then you will become so concentrated to your phone, you will not be able to see that the car in front of you has made a stop, you will crash into that car, flying through your windshield you will die
@chauncie: only sometimes that is the outcome, you can be a very skilled texted while driving, you would not die the first Time you try texting while driving.
If the United States lowered the drinking age, then younger kids will start to make bad decision. They will start to drink, then with drinking they will start to hang out with the wrong crowd of people, followed by doing bad things. Then they will get kicked out of school, start doing drugs, and then they will die.
@haley: Sometimes you can prove that you weren't there. An example would be that you took a picture with your friends yesterday and you could show the owner of the house it or you could ask someone that you were with to tell the owner of the house where you were or what you were doing yesterday to prove it wasn't you.
since you cannot prove that miley cyrus doesn't have some mental issues, then it must be true.
If you are not going to play Monster Hunter4, at first, you can not talk with friends about that. And then your friends will think you are out. Afterwards, they will not talk with you any more. B/c of that, you may think that your friends just snubbed you intentionally, and you will be negative to them. Presently, they will find out that you are not really a good friend, b/c you are always bin negative. As a result, they will not be your friend anymore. The immediate consequence with this is that you are no going to trust others. And b/c of you do not trust others, you will not make any friend. And without the help from friend, you cloud not handle the emergency in your life. And you will die really fast. And if you are an Christian, you will have slim hopes to goes Lord's kingdom.
So your life will be an totally failure. And finally you name will be use as a teaching material by negative example for the children who does not play Monster Hunter 4!

Direct tv isn't the only cable company with good services. I have AT&T and I thorougly enjoy my hundreds of channels and programs and can call for help whenever need be

Actually, peoples' hands can change size due to swelling from allergies or certain types of medications. So the glove fitting or not fitting has nothing to do with acquittal.
You should never gamble. Once you start gambling you find it hard to stop. Soon you are spending all your money on gambling, and eventually you will turn to crime to support your earnings. Then you will die.

If smoking became illegal, people would try to cope. When people would try to cope, they would make the wrong decisions, when people make the wrong decisions, they use soft drugs. When people use soft drugs, they enjoy it and move to move addictive drugs. Once people move to more addictive drugs, they die.

Driving blind-folded is bad. When you drive blind-folded you can't see the road. When you can't see the roads you can't see the basket of kittens in front of you. When you can't see the basket of kittens in front of you, innocent kittens die. Save the kittens, don't drive blindfolded.
@Joseph that is false. With proper guidance and training, one can ride a bike perfectly well and stay out of harms way. Also, I do believe that is a false statistic.
